Managing groups

From the Groups page, you can organize existing users in groups based on their types, such as consumers, data stewards or data analysts.

User groups determine the visibility of application features. They define which actions you can generally perform in your catalog such as viewing or editing catalog assets for which you have the appropriate access rights.

User groups allow you to manage a large amount of users by organizing them efficiently to assign them security roles.

Report of group statistics

A complete report on the group statistics is available in the Manage groups page by clicking the Download icon.
