On-premises assessments

Qlik Talend Cloud Migration Toolkit provides four types of assessments covering different domains of the on-premises platform.

On-Premises assessment types tab

  • Talend Platform assessment reviews the on-premises platform including the licenses, the number of users and the list of servers and then proposes the corresponding Talend Cloud mapping for similar features.

  • Talend Projects assessment focuses on the Talend projects code review. This assessment provides insights and metrics on the different assets that composes a Talend project, such as Jobs and Routes, and potential refactoring efforts to make them compatible for Talend Cloud.

  • Operation assessment focuses on the deployed tasks and plans executions. Qlik Talend Cloud Migration Toolkit generates a dashboard with execution metrics to provide some insights on the health of the Talend deployment.

  • Environment Runtime Usage assessment focuses on the overall Runtime platform usage. Qlik Talend Cloud Migration Toolkit generates a dashboard with data such as the total number of tasks and Jobs executed and the total execution duration for a selected period.
