Workflow actions
Depending on the configuration of the workflow process, you can make multiple changes to objects in the custom model.
You can only apply the actions that match your workflow object role.
The table below describes the different workflow actions that you can perform on objects.Actions | Description |

Add Object |
As a user with the Editor workflow role, you can create an object as a Draft. Then, you can perform the following actions: start review, submit for approval, mark for deprecation or discard. As a user without the Editor workflow role, you can create an object as a Candidate. |
Send to Draft |
You define the object state as Draft. Then, you can perform the following actions: start review, submit for approval or delete. |
Start Review |
You review the object with the Draft state. Then, you can perform the following actions: request change, recommend approval, submit for approval or send to draft. |
Discard | You discard the previous action. |
Request Change | You send the object to draft. |
Mark for Depreciation | You want to set the Draft state of an object as Deprecated. Then, you can start review or submit for approval this action. |
Recommend Approval | You submit the object for approval. |
Submit for Approval | You want to approve the object. Then, you can perform the following actions: send to draft, approve or reject. |
Approve | You decide to approve the previous action performed on the object. Then, you can publish or reject the object. |
Reject | You decide to reject the previous action performed on the object. |
Publish | You decide to publish the object. Then, you can send back the object to draft by applying the Edit action. |
