Installers

The following features are available in the installers timestamped 20221123_1200 or later. These installers concern new installations only. If you want to reinstall products using these installers and the timestamps in your license email are older, ask Support to resend you the license email with the most recent timestamps.

If you already installed your products, you can get the latest updates for each application from monthly patches, except for Talend Runtime. Talend Runtime requires at least version R2022-10-RT reinstalled from scratch in order to be updated with monthly patches. For more information, see Upgrading Talend Runtime.

Updated modules The list of modules available in the installers depend on your license. When applicable, the installers now embed the following module versions:
  • Talend Administration Center R2022-11
  • Talend Data Preparation R2022-11
  • Talend Data Stewardship R2022-11
  • Talend Dictionary Service R2022-11
  • Talend ESB and Talend Runtime 8.0.1-R2022-10-RT
  • Talend Identity and Access Management 8.0.1.2
  • Talend JobServer 8.0.1.20221110_1943_patch
  • Talend MDM R2022-11
  • Talend SAP RFC Server R2022-11
  • Talend Studio R2022-09
    Information noteImportant: If you install Talend Studio with this installer, you must then set up the update URL with the R2022-09 monthly update or later. For more information, see Setting up update repositories for Talend Studio and Continuous Integration.
Updated third-party applications The installers now embed the following application versions:
  • MongoDB version 4.0.28
  • Apache Tomcat version 9.0.62
  • Kafka 3.2.3 for Talend Data Preparation, Talend Data Stewardship, and Talend Dictionary Service
  • MinIO RELEASE.2022-04-16T04-26-02Z
  • Java 11.0.16 for Talend Studio Installer
Support new operating system versions New operating system versions are now supported:
  • Linux Rocky 8.5
  • MacOS Monterey 12
  • Windows Server 2022

The type of operating system that is supported depends on the installer. For example, the Talend Studio Installer is supported on MacOS but the Talend Installer, which also installs server modules, is not.
Migration scripts for Nexus and Artifactory Two migration scripts are now available in the tac directory.
