Using a Talend Cloud Remote Engine for AWS

Talend Remote Engine is available on the Amazon Marketplace.

By pairing a Talend Remote Engine created from Talend Cloud with a Talend Remote Engine available on AWS, you are able to run tasks and plans easily with minimal configuration steps.

Two operating modes are available:
  • Using an Amazon Machine Image (AMI). An AMI is a template that enables you to launch an EC2 instance pre-installed with Talend Remote Engine. An EC2 instance is a virtual server hosted in Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) infrastructure.
  • Using CloudFormation.
