Talend Management Console

New features

Feature Description
SSO login The Login page has been updated to streamline the SSO login process to Talend Cloud.
Task timeout

You can now define execution timeout on Job tasks.

You set the timeout value from the Engine step when adding or editing a task.

You can see the defined timeout value from the Trigger box in the Task details page. When exceeding this value, the task execution terminates. The Timed out status displays in Last 5 runs.
You can also see all executions stopped by a timeout from the Terminated tab in the Operations page with the Timed out status.
UI improvements: new tabs in the Management page
The user experience has been enhanced by adding new tabs in the Management page to simplify the navigation. You can now switch from the list of workspaces directly to the list of tasks or plans without having to go back. The new tabs are the following:
  • Workspace overview tab shows the list of workspaces and their contents depending on the workspace permissions you are assigned.

You can use the Environment filter to display workspaces of a specific environment. You can also click one of the contents in a workspace such as clicking Tasks to open the Task tab.

  • Plans tab shows the list of plans in the selected environment.

You can add a plan, use the faceted search to filter the list or click a plan name to open its details page.

  • Tasks tab shows the list of tasks in the selected environment.

You can add a task or a sample, use the Type filter to display the list of all tasks or a specific type, use the faceted search to filter the list or click a task name to open its details page.

  • Artifacts tab shows the list of artifacts in the selected environment.

You can use the faceted search to filter the list by workspace and type or click an artifact name to open its details page.

  • Connections tab shows the list of connections in the selected environment.

You can add a connection, use the faceted search to filter the list or click a connection name to display its details.

  • Resources tab shows the list of resources in the selected environment.

You can add a resource, use the faceted search to filter the list by workspace and type or click a resource name to display its details.
