Data persistence

All the data collected by the application are persisted and available for future executions.

The data is saved locally in a dedicated H2 database located in the following directory.

  • On Windows: C:\Users\<username>\.qlik\qtcmt\qtcmt.mv.db

  • On Linux: /home/<username>/.qlik/qtcmt/qtcmt.mv.db

Information noteNote: Migration from TCMP Database to QTCMT database

If a previous version of Talend Cloud Migration Platform (TCMP) is installed on the same workstation or server, Qlik Talend Cloud Migration Toolkit will automatically migrate the existing TCMP database to the QTCMT format.

During this migration, the TCMP database files located in your home directory will be copied to the QTCMT directory. The original TCMP files remain unchanged and can still be used with the existing TCMP installation.

Example of Migration Path:

  • TCMP database path: /home/<username>/.qlik/tcmp/tcmp-5.mv.db

  • QTCMT database path: /home/<username>/.qlik/qtcmt/qtcmt.mv.db
