Editing plans

You can view and edit all your plans in the workspaces you are assigned to from the plan details page.

Before you begin

  • You must have the appropriate permissions for the environment and workspace where the plan is located.
  • You must have Author permission to edit plan steps.
  • You must have Execute permission to edit or delete triggers.

Procedure

  1. Open the Management page.
  2. Go to the Plans tab.
  3. Click the name of the plan you want to edit.
    You can use the faceted search at the top of the page to filter the list.

Results

The following table presents the actions you can perform from the plan details page
Action How
Rename the plan Hover over its name and click the Edit icon.
Edit the plan steps Click the Edit button then select Steps.

Add or edit a trigger Click the Edit button then select Schedule.
Delete a trigger Click the Delete trigger icon next to the trigger name under the Trigger type area or edit the schedule configuration.
Access the details page of the tasks used in steps Expand the steps and click the task name in the Plan steps box.
Run the plan Click the Run now button.
Pause the plan runs Click the Pause button.
Resume a paused plan Click the Resume button.
Duplicate the plan on another workspace in the same environment Click More actions > Copy / Move on the top right corner.
Move the plan from the current workspace to another one in the same environment Click More actions > Copy / Move on the top right corner.
Delete the plan Click More actions > Delete on the top right corner.
Allow or block the parallel run of a plan Click the Edit button then select Schedule.
Edit the description of the plan Click the Edit next to the Description header.
View the results of the last five runs Expand the panels under the Last 5 runs section.
View the next five runs See the next runs in the Next 5 runs section next to the Last 5 runs area.
View the run history of the plan Click Run History next to the Last 5 runs section.
Configure email notifications for yourself if a plan run reaches a certain status Click the Configure your notifications icon.
