Installing Talend Runtime

The installation of Talend Runtime is only required if you want to deploy and run OSGi Route and Data Service Tasks. In all other cases, Talend Runtime is not needed.

Talend Runtime is an OSGi container, based on Apache Karaf, allowing you to deploy and execute various components and applications inside its deploy folder.

Talend Runtime can be used as an execution server to deploy and run OSGi Route and Data Service Tasks, after selecting the right profile for your Remote Engine.

You can download Talend Runtime from the Talend Cloud portal with an installer (run executable file) or in an archive (tar.gz ).
