Creating a data mapping

Before you begin

You have been assigned an object role with the Metadata Management capability.

Procedure

  1. Go to the MANAGE > Configuration.
  2. Click the plus sign under Configuration Manager and select Data Mapping.
  3. Enter a name and description.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click the Open button.
  6. Optionally, click the Folders tab to create a folder structure.
  7. In the Mappings tab, click the plus sign to add a new mapping.
  8. Select Query mapping or Bulk mapping from the drop-down list.
    • If a query mapping, you must select the target tables.
    • If a bulk mapping, provide a name and a description.

      You specify the target and source schemas later.

  9. Click OK.
