Executing the Jobs

About this task

After setting up the Jobs and configuring the components used in the Jobs for reading and writing Avro data, you can then execute the Jobs and verify the Jobs execution results.

Procedure

  1. Switch to the Run view of the reading Job and click Run.
    The tLogRow component presents the execution result of the Job in the console. You can now read Avro records.
  2. Switch to the Run view of the writing Job and click Run.
    The tKafkaOutput components publishes the Avro records. You can see the records by going to your schema registry instance. In this example, https://localhost:8081/schemas.
