Operating a replication

Procedure

  1. Follow the steps described in Preparing the replication.
  2. Select the recovery type from the Properties of the distribution. See section Recovery for more details.
  3. From the Supervision screen, click Start.
    If you want to start the replication process for one distribution, double-click on a table, then click Activity.
    If you want to start it for various distributions, click the Supervision button located at the bottom of the distributed target tables.
  4. Now you can Supervision of the replication.
    Information noteNote: If no information is displayed in the fields of the Supervision screen, check that you have performed the journalization process. See Journalizing a database section for more details.
