Exporting a project

Talend Studio allows you to export projects created or imported in the current instance of Talend Studio.

Procedure

  1. Click File > Export from the menu bar.
    The Export dialog box displays.

  2. In the tree view of the dialog box, click General > Archive File to and click Next.

  3. Select the check boxes of the projects you want to export. You can select only parts of the project through the Filter Types... link, if need be (for advanced users).
  4. In the To archive file field, type in the name of or browse to the archive file where you want to export the selected projects.
  5. In the Options area, select the compression format and the structure type you prefer.
  6. Click Finish to validate the changes.

Results

The archived file that holds the exported projects is created in the defined place.
